Each flight of stairs in Ms Thomas’s apartment building has the same number of stairs and each flight of stairs connects one floor to the next.
Ms Thomas walks up 65 stairs to get from the Ground floor to her apartment.
To get from the Ground floor to the top floor she must walk up 104 stairs.
If the lowest floor of the building is called the Ground floor and the floor above it is called the second floor (or
floor 2), what is the number assigned to the floor where Ms Thomas lives?

Ms. Thomas lives on the 3 floor of the biulding.
I First divided 65 by 5 which gave me 13. Then I divided 104 by 13 which gave me 8.
So there are 8 floors and Ms Thomas is on the 5th floor.

i got 65 stairs dived by 5 then i got 13 and then i got 104 of stairs and dived by 13 and got 8.
so ms. Tomas must be on the 5th floor

2nd I saw that it was four floors
3rd then I saw that it takes 52 steps to get to the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor is between 52 and 78 so that means she lives on the 3rd floor.
